GUTGESTALTEN BOOKLET

Since there already exist so many badly implemented or designed websites and apps, a group of 14 graphic design students decided to counteract that. As human-centered design in developing interactive systems gets more (well deserved!) attention, digital interfaces get more and more easier to operate with for its users.

With this booklet we focused exactly on this topic and not only explain the basics, but also give tips for a better usability of websites. The product can be used as a guide for beginners or a  reference book if you’re already an expert.

Together we decided on the design for the booklet (which was quite tricky as you can imagine with so many design-students) assigned a topic to everyone, so that everybody has content to focus on.

In this project I was responsible for a lot of organisational issues, like communicating with the printing company, collecting the data from everyone, putting content together and for the fine-tuning of the booklet in the end. I’m also kind of proud to say that the editorial design is – except for some small changes – based on my draft. In addition, me and my colleague created some awesome pictures of the booklet in the end.
